New Season Theme Announced: The Music Time Machine

Cadence Collective Foundation is pleased to introduce the 2026 theme for the MUSIC CANVAS: Themed Concert Series—The Music Time Machine. This new concept invites each performer to imagine traveling to a different moment in history, choosing which composer they would meet, and designing a program inspired by that encounter. The result encourages curiosity, historical imagination, and a renewed way for audiences to experience musical storytelling.

The first recital under this theme will be presented by pianist Evan Chen, winner of the San Francisco International Piano Competition. His program traces a clear journey through time, featuring works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, and Scriabin.

This recital will be held on January 25, 2026, at Steinway Gallery Pasadena. Guests may RSVP through our official events page down below.
